I'm weird!

Conversation between my classmate /coursework partner/ only third girl in a class of 70 odd guys....

She [she's pretty btw] : Which religion do you belong to?
Me : [is that relevant to anything at all??!] er... I'm religionless
She : what? [with a 'I didnt hear you' expression]
Me : [trying to explain] My parents are Hindus....but I'm not. Just dont believe in all that stuff...So that makes me religionless!
She : Religionless?
Me : Yes, religionless..... [is that bad?]
She : You're weird!
Me : yeah right!

Generally, I feel shy.. but..

Well..

See, I feel Religion is faith and as long as you have faith in something, even yourself, your interests, That is your religion.

Yes! Whatever you have faith in, is your religion.. I`m not very philosophical, but yes, thatz it..!!!

Sumit,
all religions are weird...!

Srijith,
As long as you have faith in something, thats it, it exists....I agree....but not something as imaginary as man made religion with rituals and customs that depend on 'maybe and couldbe'

We call hinduism a religion, but it has always been described as a way of life! So you are right!
our aims &goals in life is our religion.

Way to go girl!

:-) Religionless? Is that some kind of feeling of vaccum? Or feeling equally for each religion? Just curious.

nku,
no vaccum, no equal feeling for each religion......filled space with my own meaning!
