The Blackpool tower

The Blackpool tower

Uncomparable to the Eiffel tower in Paris was inspired by the same. Built in 1890's the tower's 518 feet tall. The base of the tower rises from a low lying building that houses a ball room, a huge circus, an aquarium and an amusement centre. Take a ride up and you'll feel, its not as strong as the Eiffel Tower. There's a walk of faith...a 2 inch glass floor overlooking the northern pier road from 380 feet above. Not scary at all, the most that can happen is the glass cracking out to let you have a free fall of 380 feet until you're flat on earth....but chances are like 0.000001% and I was in a 'mood' for a walk, so I took one! I walked right on it and it didnt break! The view is amazing....during the night watch the not-so bustling city and during the day, just stretch your mind till you find the end of the ocean.

Several reproductions of Eiffel tower:
1. Tokyo, Japan called the Tokyo Tower (13 meters higher than the original, scale 1.04:1)
2. Blackpool, England - Blackpool Tower 158 meters (519 feet) tall is not quite a free-standing structure; it stands above the Tower Circus complex, where the four "legs" can be seen.
3. Guatemala City, Guatemala - Torre del Reformador, 75 meters tall
4. Paradise, Nevada, near Las Vegas, USA (scale 1:2)
5. Prague, Czech Republic (scale 1:5), Petrinska rozhledna, built in 1891
6. Shenzhen, China (scale 1:3)
7. King's Island theme park, Ohio (scale 1:3)
8. An imitation in front of Paris Hotel, Las Vegas, 165 meters (540 feet) high (scale 1:2).
9. Wembley Park, London - Watkins' Tower
10. Woodwards Building, Vancouver, Canada. A small reproduction on the roof of the building is topped by a signature neon "W". This building is now being converted into social housing.
11. Paramount Park's Kings Dominion, Virginia. A 84 m (275-ft) reproduction is available for the amusement of visitors. (scale 1:3.59)
12. Mini Europe in Brussels...

The smallest of all is my key chain...
